It's been a long time since I've posted or written a new book for that matter.

And a simple answer should clear it all up.

My eyes were going bad...cataracts.

The Pandemic forced me to do a lot more close up work in bad lighting conditions, no to mention some poor eating habits as a result of fear of being out in a public area where so many people were not wearing masks, or had taken the shots.

To be frank about it. 

I just wasn't about to throw myself off a Covid cliff because of a bunch of people who either did not fear death, or were too ignorant of what would happen to them if they didn't mask or get the shots.

As a result, over a million Americans are now dead and still over 400 a day are dying from Covid.

I'm not a political person; but it really hurts my heart to see so many of my fellow Americans deny that they are responsible for keeping family, friends and neighbors safe.

Saddens me deeply.

But. the end result of this I am afraid we have not seen yet, because of Long Covid.

Back to why I have been gone, I had to get eye surgery. I was at a point where I was making so many visual mistakes, I could not put it off.

Though I did as long as I could.

Now, both eyes have been corrected for their vision and my eyesight is better now than before the surgery and before Covid.
